1996: Mimco was founded by Amanda Briskin.
1997: Mimco obtains their first overseas sale to Fred Segal in the USA.
1998: The first range of hair accessories hit shelves.
1999: First leather bag collection launched.
2000: Mimco take the international market by storm, signing key department stores in Asia, UK and New Zealand.
2001: Mimco opens first stand alone boutique in Chapel Street, South Yarra, Melbourne.
2002: Mimco bags are featured on hit TV show "Sex In The City" with the Panda Bag that became a phenomenon on anyone's arm.
2003: Opening first Sydney boutique in Oxford Street, Paddington. Knitwear, Revolution Collection is launched.
2004: Mimco is appointed as the sole Australian fashion accessory brand within the David Jones fashion line up.
2005: Won Prix De Marie Claire - Best Accessory Designer. Mimco premier at Mercedes Australian Fashion Week Spring/Summer Collection Launch.
2006: Mimco hit the streets of Paris, stopping girls on the street to take their photo carrying Mimco wears. Vogure do a 4 page feature on Mimco.
2007: Mimco win back to back Prix De Marie Claire Award. Witchery Holding acquires Mimco from founder Amanda Briskin.
2008: Introduce footwear to Mimco mix. Open first stand alone boutique in the UK.
