1. Selecting items
In SHOP, all the categories are listed on the left hand side. As you browse through the categories you will see all the styles displayed in the main body. You can also click on each sub category to see a smaller list of styles. Or use our SEARCH button to discover the exact item you are looking for.
By clicking on a particular style you will see the details of that style including the image, price, colour and description. To see an enlarged picture, simply hover your mouse over the image. To add the item to your shopping basket, simply click on ADD TO BASKET. Keep browsing and adding items in this way.
2. Your Basket
You can review your items at any time by clicking on BASKET. You can delete styles and change quantities as necessary. To amend the quantity simply select a new quantity amount in the drop down box, the order amount will adjust automatically.
To delete an item click on delete. To continue shopping simply click on ‘continue shopping’ button.
3. Checkout
Once you are happy with your order, click on CHECKOUT. All shipping costs will be added for you to review. To continue, enter your details in the following sections:

Shipping address
If you intend to send a gift, the billing address will be your address and the shipping address will be to the person you are sending the gift to.
Please only place a Company Name in the company name field and not general address details.
Payment information
This is a secure area and you will notice the security lock in the bottom right hand corner of your browser. The security lock ensures your order & payment details are encrypted by a 128 bit encryption and remain secure over the internet. We accept Visa, Mastercard and American Express but do not accept cash, cheque, money order or travellers cheques.
Once you have completed all fields marked with an *, please click on the ‘continue checkout’ button. You will then be shown all your order details for you to review and confirm. If you are happy your details are correct, click on the ‘place your order’ button. Your credit account will then be debited.
When we receive your order we will send you a confirmation email with your order number and order details attached. If there are any problems with your order please email us at customercare@mimco.com.au or contact us on 1800 994 340.
SHIPPING/DELIVERY
Delivery within AustraliaWe endeavour to have all Australia deliveries arrive within 5-7 working days. Due to the high demand during busy sale periods, we will aim to dispatch your order within 7 working days.
Australia PostIn Australia we use Australia Post eParcels. This provides an ability to track your order through the Australia Post website.
Once your parcel has been dispatched from the Mimco Online warehouse a unique tracking code will be sent to your nominated email address. The tracking number will begin with MAY.

If you have queries about your delivery, please call Australia Post on 13 POST (13 7678).
Signed DeliveriesAll deliveries need to be signed for so please ensure someone is available to collect the package at your nominated address. Australia Post will deliver between 9.00 am and 5.00 pm Monday to Friday.
If there is no one to sign for the eParcel, Australia Post will leave a note and you will need to collect your parcel from the nominated outlet in your state.

BackordersIf your item(s) are required to be sourced from a local boutique (backorder) there may be longer delays. Backorders can take up to 2-4 weeks to source and dispatch to you. We will contact you via phone or email as soon as we know your item will be delayed.
If you have ordered more than 1 item, in most cases we will part ship your order – in this situation you will receive a dispatch email with an attachment detailing which items have been sent to you.
In all cases, if a popular item has sold out we will contact you by phone or email and refund you. This will be done within two weeks of your order.
Please note, if a refund is required, once requested through payment gateway SecurePay monies can take up to 7 days to appear back in your account.
International deliveriesMimco ship to most destinations in the world!
We use FedEx to ship all international orders and they usually take between 7-21 working days to arrive depending on how long it takes to clear customs.
This is different in every country. In New Zealand deliveries normally take between 5-10 working days.
Duties & taxesAll international purchases are exempt from Australian GST (10%); however they may incur taxes and duties applied by customs in the country where the order is delivered. Local taxes and duties incurred are the responsibility of the customer.

If you find a fault...If the fault is deemed a manufacturing fault, if returned within 14 days of finding the fault we will happily exchange the item if we still have it, refund your money or we may need to repair it if the item is no longer in stock.
In all cases, you will be contacted via phone or email as to the result from your faulty item. Should a refund be required, please note payment gateway SecurePay can take up to 7 days for monies to appear back in your account.

Online orders returns to store - exchange onlyWithin 14 days of receiving the product you may exchange any items purchased at any Mimco boutique – excluding David Jones.
Items must not have been worn and remain in its original condition. You will also need to bring proof of purchase.
Within a boutique, you may only exchange online orders; refunds must be processed through online Customer Care. See ‘Refunds’ section above.
David JonesIf you have purchased your Mimco items from a David Jones store and would like to return the item(s) for an exchange/credit note or you feel the product has a genuine fault please return back to David Jones with your proof of purchase. Unfortunately items bought at David Jones can not be returned to a Mimco Boutique.

If any product purchased by you is faulty of significantly different to that shown or described to you or not performing the function you were led to believe that it would and Mimco in its reasonable opinion agrees, you are entitled to choose a refund, or have the product repaired or exchanged, provided that the product is returned to Mimco within a reasonable amount of time together with proof of purchase.
Warranty on sunglassesWe warrant our sunglasses against breakage due to defects in material and workmanship for one year from the date of purchase. Scratched lenses are considered normal wear and are not covered under warranty.

BOUTIQUES RETURNS POLICY - in store policy for Australia, Singapore & New Zealand
Terms and Conditions1. Proof of purchase is required for all exchanges and returns with no exceptions.
2. If a product exhibits a genuine manufacturing fault, or is significantly different to that shown or described, you are entitled to a refund, credit note, repair or exchange, provided that the product is returned to Mimco within a reasonable timeframe with proof of purchase.
3. If you change your mind within 14 days of purchase, Mimco will happily exchange or offer a credit note provided the product is unworn, tags are attached, and is in its original condition.
4. Mimco cannot offer an exchange or credit for any items purchased on sale unless the product exhibits a genuine manufacturing fault that the customer was not aware of at time of purchase.
5. For hygiene reasons earrings, hair accessories and hosiery (unless unopened and unworn) cannot be exchanged or refunded.
6. Mimco offers Lay-By terms requiring a non-refundable 20% deposit and full payment within 28 days of entering into the Lay-By agreement with the exclusion of sale items. Sale items cannot be placed on Lay-By.
7. Gift Vouchers are valid for 12 months from date of issue, and may be redeemed at Mimco Boutiques (excluding David Jones) and Mimco clearance outlets. Gift Vouchers must be treated as cash and cannot be replaced if lost.
CURRENCY
All prices are listed in Australian Dollars (AUD) however there is an easy to use Currency Converter that has been built into the site that allows you to convert the price into your chosen currency. Whilst browsing in the SHOP section when you see an item you like simply click on CURRENCY, select the currency you would like a comparison for and the exchange amount will appear in brackets next to the Australian Dollar (AUD) amount.
All transactions are settled in Australian Dollars (AUD). The conversion rate varies from day to day with the current exchange rate and many banks also charge a small currency conversion fee. The final charge to your card is made in Australian Dollars and the ultimate conversion rate is determined by your bank or credit provider.
GST & TAXES
All purchases delivered in Australia will incur the standard GST tax rates.
All international purchases are exempt from Australian taxes; however they may incur taxes and duties applied by customs in the country where the order is delivered. The responsibility for any customs duties, foreign taxes or other fees which may be imposed will rest with the customer. To determine exactly what these charges may be, it may be necessary to call your local customs office to gain further details.
